Orée Stylograph : from handwriting to your iPhone with style

The Stylograph is ball pen in a beautiful copper body that is smart and connected to your iPhone with which you can synchronize the notes you are taking, the drawings you are making by hand with the Stylographe thanks to the Stylograph dedicated notebook.

The French iPhone and iPad wooden accessories maker Orée is launching this Fall a new product that is going to be much talked about by iPhone users: the Orée Stylograph. The Stylograph is ball pen in a beautifully crafted copper body that is smart and connected to your iPhone with which you can synchronize the notes you are taking, the drawings you are making by hand with the Stylograph thanks to the Stylograph dedicated real paper notebook.

First of all, the Stylograph is a 0.7mm ball pen that should offer a smooth handwriting and a great drawing experience for your schemes. It is made of a gorgeous copper outer coating and its triangular shape makes it quite comfortable in your hand for an ultimate drawing experience. The cap of the ball pen is made of wood as is the speciality of Orée which is well-known now for the wireless keyboards for iPad, also made of wood.

The Stylograph by Orée has to be used with a special 192 pages notebook in A5 format. Everything you wright or draw of this notebook with the Stylograph is going to be recorded by the smartpen and then thanks to a Bluetooth connexion, yourStylograph smartpen  is going to connect to your iPhone and the Stylograph iOS application in order to send your iPhone all the notes and drawings that you made by hand with Stylograph. Note that the Stylograph and the application will also support Android devices.

Stylographe Oree

Orée says that the built-in battery of the Stylograph as well as its embedded memory offer an autonomy of 2 days of note taking. You can recharge the battery of the stylographe thanks to a micro USB cable.

This concept is interesting in many points. First, the Stylograph is a gorgeous projet made of real copper with a very fine ball point for people who like handwriting or drawing things. Then, more or less like the Wacom inkling system, it offers you the possibility to get digital forms of what you hand wrote. This is very precious for people who, like me, love to use their hands for writing and drawing but need to go paperless for organization purposes. With the Stylograph by Orée, you get the best of both words.

Orée is going to open the preorders in September. If you want to be advised of the preorder’s opening, you can go to this page.

Orée has told us that Stylograph will be available for the first shipments in October 2015, but till now, its selling price has not been unveiled. We’ll keep you posted on that.
