Instagram is adapting the definition of the photos that you can take and share on the photo sharing social network. Previously stuck at a poor 640 x 640 pixels, the images you will now be able to share through your iPhone on Instagram will be 1080 x 1080 pixels. This new evolution has been unveiled by Mike Krieger Instagram Co-founder in a tweat:
We’re rolling out 1080×1080 uploads (and higher-quality viewing) for IG on iOS and Android. Let me know if feed looks a bit sharper today 🙂

Not everybody using Instagram will benefit from the 1080 x 1080 photo quality right now as this new feature is limited to iOS and Android users. If you are using a Windows Phone device, you will still have to wait a bit.
