Instagram for iOS has just been updated in version 6.11.0 by the photo sharing social network, now a property of Facebook. This update of Instagram for iOS brings a few improvements here and there but the most noticeable one is on the creative side. Instagram for iOS offers a welcome addition of 3 new photos tweaking filters.
These tree filters that make their first appearance in Instagram for iOS are :
- Lark
- Reyes
- Jano
As Instagram emphasizes, these 3 filters are pretty light and subtle. They aim at at slightly enhancing the photos is that you will submit to their color deviation diagrams. It’s clear that when Instagram was first launched, everybody has kind of discovered the photo filters on smartphones and today we are a bit tired of these photo tweaking method and we are craving for new filters and more subtle photo editing solutions. These 3 filters seem to address this new need for subtle tools among Instagram users.
Aside from these new filters, Instagram for iOS that you know inserts emojis in hashtags when you a comment on a photo and you can also leave comments on photos directly from the Apple Watch companion app of Instagram for iOS.
