Thanks to 5 speakers and a class D digital amplifier, the Zeppelin Wireless is undoubtedly setting the standard of high quality premium sound on a wireless speaker.
Zeppelin Wireless : premium sound
Bowers & Wilkins has implemented a new wider woofer for low frequencies. We still find two double dome tweeters of 1 inch each and people who really are into music will appreciate that acoustic engineers of Bowers & Wilkins have implemented two 90 mm 25 watts medium speakers. The mediums are paramount for voice and instrument restitutions and often the poorest dotation on many modern products that emphasize on bass and low frequencies.
Zeppelin Wireless with no Lightning dock, nope, none…
If the Zeppelin Wireless goes fully wireless thanks to AirPlay, Bluetooth and WiFi, we can deeply regret that they have skipped the Lightning dock section of the previous Zeppelin. This was coming very handy as it could help as an iPhone stand while recharging its battery. This will no longer be the case on the Zeppelin Wireless and this is a real pity.
Price and availability of the Zeppelin Wireless
Bowers & Wilkins has already a Zeppelin Wireless which is available in black only at the price of USD 699.
